Hello Team,

We are going to host a Voter's Registration booth at the Juneteenth Celebration at King Kennedy Memorial Center/Mellis Park. I am looking to schedule coverage during the event from 12:00 pm until closing 6 p.m. If you have any suggestion as to how to manage our event please do not hesitate to contact me at 209-485-2820 or if there is any area you would prefer to serve.

Date: Saturday, June 13, 2009 Noon - 6 P.M.

Setup: We need to setup around 11:00 am.

Helena Sraudhter will be in charge of Setting up the booth:

Shift to be covered:

Setup to 12:00 pm Helena Sraudhter

1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Final shift coverage is the break down of the booth setup; is there anyone interested in this shift???

Please sign up so we can cover the entire event. Please note that this is our first voter's registration event as the SCDCC Election Committee....show up to serve your community.

Please join us! We will be holding a demonstration in support of Family Planning Associates of Modesto, and Dr. George Tiller,
a women’s health care services advocate who was assassinated on May 31,st during church services in Wichita, Kansas.

For many years People For Choice has provided escort services for women entering the Family Planning Clinic.

We will meet there on

Wednesday, June 17th at 8:20 a.m.

2030 Coffee Road, Modesto

We plan to stand peacefully on the sidewalk and carry signs.

It is our belief that women’s reproductive rights are in jeopardy and we must do everything we can to support those who are in support of a woman’s choice and the law.
